I'm Amelia. I live a few minutes from Shell Yeah - close enough that if something needs fixing, I'm usually there before you've finished the phone call. I've got four kids, one very patient husband, and a genuine, slightly obsessive love of hosting. Vacations are where the good stories come from. A slow coffee on the pool deck. A cold plunge that makes everyone shriek and then high-five. A late night on the swing with a glass of wine and someone you love. I started Oak and Ocean Retreats to be part of moments like that - and helping strangers build memories they replay for years is still my favorite part of the whole thing.

So I built the place I always wished existed. Four real bedrooms - three kings and a queen - plus a pull-out for the extra two, so a big group actually fits without anyone on the floor. A saltwater pool heated for February. And out back, a whole wellness building: cold plunge, sauna, and the swing that somehow becomes everyone's favorite seat in the house.

The name is exactly what it sounds like - pure joy, no overthinking. My kids supervised construction in their own toddler way, taste-tested the paint swatches, and generally approved the vibe: polished where it counts, relaxed everywhere else, and a little bit fun.
